Everything you need to know about using KedQuest to create amazing interactive games.

Getting Started

Creating Your Account

1. Go to kedquest.app and tap Creator Login
2. Register with your email or sign in with Google
3. Verify your email with the 6-digit code sent to you
4. You're ready to create your first game

Creating Your First Game

1. From the game list, tap Create New Game
2. Follow the 6-step game wizard:
   • Basic Info — Game name, description, and time settings
   • Tasks — Add challenges with text, photos, or QR check-ins
   • Stations — Define physical locations for each task
   • Managers — Assign people to approve task completions
   • Settings — Configure scoring rules and game behavior
   • Review — Preview and publish your game

Using the AI Game Generator

1. In the Create Game screen, switch to AI Mode
2. Describe your event in a sentence (e.g., "Team building in a park for 30 people")
3. KedQuest AI generates a complete game with tasks, descriptions, and settings
4. Review and customize, then publish

Core Features

QR Code Stations

Each game gets unique QR codes for every station. Print them and place them at physical locations. Players scan to check in and unlock tasks.

Task Types

• Text Tasks — Players submit text answers
• Photo Proof — Players take a photo as evidence
• QR Check-in — Players scan a station QR code
• AI Validated — AI evaluates the answer automatically
• Manager Approved — A manager reviews and approves in person

Live Leaderboard

The leaderboard updates in real-time as players complete tasks. Display it on a projector for maximum excitement.

Photo Wall

All photo submissions appear on a live photo wall. Use it as a projection during events or share it afterward.

Broadcasting

Send live text messages to all active participants. Use it for hints, announcements, or time warnings.

Badge System

Players earn badges based on their performance — fastest completion, most photos, first to finish, and more.

Managing Your Game

Dashboard Controls

• Start/End Game — Control when the race begins and ends
• Lock/Unlock Stations — Manage which stations are active
• Approval Queue — Review and approve/reject task submissions
• Broadcast — Send messages to all participants
• Photo Wall — Monitor incoming photos

Manager Roles

Assign managers to handle task approvals at specific stations. Managers get their own login and approval interface.
